I am Kimberly Millspaugh, the founder and lead caregiver at Comfort Pet Care. Over the years, I've nurtured and and cared for animals in a zoo environment, gaining hands-on experience in animal husbandry and care, working in the nursery with fragile baby mammals. My background includes a wildlife biology bachelor's degree, specialized in animal behavior from UC Davis, a Nutrition degree, and a registered veterinary technician license, providing me with the knowledge to offer the best care possible.

Wildlife Care Specialist

As a wildlife care specialist here in San Diego, I worked as a neonate hand rearing specialist in the zoo nursery, and have had reared thousands of sick and orphaned mammals across dozens of different species, from cheetah, tiger, porcupines, fruit bats, rhino, and giraffe, providing comprehensive care including medical care. Previous to specializing with neonates, I worked with gorillas, bonobos and other primate species, rhinos, giraffe, and elephants, and my favorite, goats.
